Karina Andersen
Hello! I’m an undergraduate student-athlete at the University of Colorado Boulder pursuing a major in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Computer Science.
My background involves work in astronomy research, artificial intelligence, and robotics. I’m excited to dive deeper into mechanical engineering and explore ways in which to couple it with my passion for computer science and software development. I’m particularly interested in applying engineering in environmental and agricultural aspects to create solutions to problems caused by climate change.
In my free time I enjoy hiking, cooking, and exploring the mountains of Colorado. I am a member of the cross country and track teams at CU, and enjoy experiencing the self-growth that comes with training and competing at the D1 level with my amazing teammates.
